We were blown away by Alex Gardner‘s layering and color gradations. Take in the whole of each canvas, but then get close to see the brush strokes and the multiple colors he’s employed to create a luminescence in each panel. Many of you may already be familiar with Alex, but for us the Saturday’s opening was a wonderful discovery. This exhibition at Perrotin is on view through July 26.
