Rob Fields is an art advisor and curator connecting collectors, institutions, and ideas. His practice focuses on investment-grade work from the African diaspora and the Global South, and he has facilitated client acquisitions of work by Malick Sidibé, Mickalene Thomas, Joana Choumali, Kamyar Bineshtarigh, Simon Benjamin, Teresa Kutala Firmino, and Jamel Robinson.

Previously president and executive director of Weeksville Heritage Center, he led its turnaround and secured its designation as the first new member of the NYC Cultural Institutions Group in over 20 years. He is also the former director of the Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art & Storytelling.

He serves on the US Advisory Board of Volta Art Fair, the Board of Trustees of UnionDocs, and the Museum of Diasporan Digital Art.
